Fleets
Ideal for organizations that oversee small to medium-size CNG vehicle fleets, CNG’s fleet refueling systems take advantage of off-peak hours and increase productivity by refueling vehicles overnight or when vehicles aren’t in use including Class 8.
Enjoy the convenience of refueling right on site – CNG’s system takes low-pressure natural gas from the line and compresses it to 3600 psi for use in natural gas vehicles (NGVs). The modular design makes it simple to custom design a station that meets the customer’s immediate and future fueling needs. Fast-fill and time-fill, as well as indoor fueling applications are available.
CNG Refuse Trucks and Recyclers
Diesel-fueled trash trucks are one of the most concentrated sources of health threatening air pollution. Diesel plumes coming out of conventional trucks’ exhaust pipes – especially with the frequent stop and go operation in residential areas – represent raw fuel contaminating the air we breath.

Forklifts
Geared towards both indoor and outdoor forklift applications, CNG’s VRAs for forklifts make CNG fueling easy.
As the cleanest alternative fuel for IC propane engines available today, CNG-fueled forklifts reduce carbon monoxide emissions up to 95 percent over conventional propane-based forklifts – meaning no more headaches and no smell of propane. Natural gas is safer than propane especially for indoor applications, as propane produces about 1.40 grams per mile of carbon monoxide. With cleaner burning natural gas, forklift operators and fellow workers are exposed to considerably less emissions. Cleaner indoor air also means less air changes and lower heating bills.
Additional bonuses of CNG for forklifts: because of the simple chemical makeup of natural gas, engines stay clean and tuned. CNG tanks are also permanently mounted on forklifts. There is no lifting of heavy propane bottles, eliminating potential back injuries.
Ice Resurfacers
Ice resurfacers – known commonly under the brand names Zamboni® and Resurfice Corp.’s Olympia line – can also run on CNG. AVSG currently oversees dozens of CNG-powered resurfacers in greater New England.
With CNG ice resurfacers, skating rink and arena air quality is greatly improved by virtually eliminating the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning. Emissions are reduced by up to 90 percent over conventional models and the need to exhaust the arena air is reduced significantly, making operation ultimately more economical – not to mention healthier. And with an octane rating of 130, natural gas burns more completely than other fuels.
